After a long drive, we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening in a cozy little house with sparkling wine offered by the owner. Extremely tasteful and thoughtful interior, dignified kitchen appliances, everything "embarrassingly" clean, beautiful yard. The only thing we regret is that we stayed there for only one night.

Hotel Čingov Slovenský raj is located at the entrance to the famous Slovak Paradise National Park, 6 km from Spišská Nová Ves and the High Tatras National Park.

Hrabusice is the best base for a visit to Slovensky Raj and exploring the Spis region. Some hiking trails (Hornad canyon, Sucha Bela) are walking distance from the village, for the rest you would need a car as public transport is limited outside summer holidays. Due to some mix up with the booking Peter (the host) arranged for us to stay in an apartment in another part of the village. It was an upgrade as we had a whole very comfy apartment with kitchen to ourselves. Communication with Peter was fast and reliable and the proposed solution more than satisfactory! Tip for visitors: since April 2024 local tourist tax (2 euros per person per night) allows free entry to paid sites in Slovensky Raj and includes insurance for mountain rescue costs.

A charming stay in historic Levoča We had a wonderful time in this atmospheric apartment located in the heart of Levoča, a UNESCO-listed town full of history and charm. The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. It had a unique, soulful character and felt both cozy and authentic. The garden was an absolute highlight, a beautiful outdoor space surrounded by flowers and greenery, perfect for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always available and genuinely concerned with making our stay comfortable. This was also a great base for exploring the region. We took several beautiful hikes in the nearby mountains, and the incredible UNESCO-listed Spiš Castle (Spišský hrad) is just a 20-minute drive away. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful, memorable stay in Slovakia.

Location, in the centre if beautiful town and only 10 minutes drive from Slovensky Raj. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very big size and tastefully decorated with all facilities. Extremely helpful and friendly host, who even gave us a lend of 2 sets of climbing harness and helmets. We will definitely recommend to anyone and we hope to be back again. We travelled as a family of four.

Relax Mariánka is set in a quiet location of Betlanovce, just a 15-minute walk from the Slovak Paradise National Park, and features en-suite rooms, free WiFi and a terrace.

Peaceful accommodation in a homely environment. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. The accommodation is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main start of the hiking trails. The accommodation was clean and quiet.
