Wonderful place to stay when in Koh Chang. The huts are simple but very clean and comfortable. You get a hammock as well to relax in front of your hut. It's just a couple of minutes walking to the beach. And 4 minutes to the pier with plenty of shops, restaurants and booking agencies for trips around the island and ferries to neighbouring islands. Absolutely recommend this place, stayed 5 days and it was perfect. Also the Pippin restaurant in front is delicious and cheap

The resort is in the most quiet area of western coast. It's very tranquil which I am looking for. The bungalow is close to the beach in 30 sec walking distance and the beach is calm for swim. The room is simple but comfortable. The manager Jebbie can arrange all kinds of activities and she is very helpful. All the staff are kind. The Thai massage next to the resort is great. I had great beach holiday here.

- A lovely peaceful location in a quiet part of the island - Just a 5-min walk to a nice, clean and swimmable beach with great sunset views - You can also walk 15-20mins to a crystal clear river which you can also swim in - Super tasty food (tofu rice soup ❤️) and drinks (Masala Chai and Thai Tea ❤️) from the in-house restaurant - Bungalows were simple but cute and totally fine for the stay - The hosts are very friendly and helpful - The communal seating area at the restaurant is very well thought out and a cosy place to hang out during the day and in the evenings We had a great time here! it’s been three weeks since we left Baan Chan Lay, but as one of our most memorable stays in Thailand, I feel I have to leave a review. Baan Chan Lay is truly a unique experience—not just because of its location and cozy vibe, but because of the way the two owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Their hospitality is heartfelt, effortless, and genuinely welcoming. When we weren’t reading a book while overlooking the bay or enjoying a peaceful, complimentary canoe ride, the warm and inviting living room atmosphere encouraged interaction with other guests, creating a sense of community. We had the smallest room, barely big enough for a bed, but with a TV (including Netflix) and a stunning view, it turned out to be one of the coziest and most charming stays we’ve ever had.

I loved my stay here! The hammock was so comfortable and strategically positioned well in front of the jungle. The art is beautiful and creates an excellent vibe. While I didn’t get a chance to have a meal at the restaurant, the food looked and smelled amazing, especially the breakfast.
