Family hotels and homes in Alishan

The small family running the teahouse were so friendly and welcoming. The teahouse itself were full of little personal handwritten quotes and touches that made you really feel at home!!! The spread of food was very generous and high quality! In many ways this place exceeds even some of the big named five star hotels in a big city!

Nice fragrant room smell of Hinoki wood. Rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated and designed. Electronic commode with cleaning function equipped. The bathtub is big to accommodate two persons at ease. There is a a platform on top of the roof for observatin of sunrise and sunset. Tea plantation behind the facility welcome the visit of customers, a good place to visit in the evening and at dawn, a good spot for photo taking.

Family home with 4 guest rooms. Excellent hosts with attention to every detail to ensure comfort of the guests. We arrived late (after dinner) and it was dark and raining heavily. Hosts came out to greet us with umbrellas and took our luggage to the rooms. Breakfast next morning was excellent and we could not finish. Host packed the balance with extra homemade bread for us to eat during our journey. House and rooms are amazing, comfortable and luxurious. Room rate is steep, but highly recommend stay for special occasion(s).

Our stay at the guesthouse was truly amazing! The place is beautiful and very comfortable. We had the opportunity to visit the family's tea farm. We also bought their tea - which is delicious - to bring back as gifts for our family and friends.

Had 3 rooms as a group. Great that there is a lift for people with difficulty climbing stairs. Very nice wood based furniture. Extremely warm family running this B&B. Welcomed us to try their tea and drink tea with the entire family during our 1 night stay there. Easy check out by leaving key in common living area.

Clean and cosy with a very large bathtub that fits 2. The owner is very hospitable- As the public bus schedule in the area is very sparse, they even went out of their way to give us a lift to Fenqihu! There is also great tea here, it seems that the family’s tea was won many top tea prizes.

It is a B&B run by Tea farmer family. You get to stroll around their tea plantation behind and also observe how they produce Tea and try their Tea. Each room is equipped with full Hinoki( Cypress) wood and smells great!
