The thing that make this stay exceptional is the family that runs this place. They are beyond helpful. They are connected with everyone and every activity and can help you arrange everything for your family during your stay. They don't hesitate to offer to help above and beyond even without being asked. Traveling with small children can be hard. They let us keep our luggage there before and after checkout, helped us arrange tours, and even brought the luggage to the ferry for us when they saw how overburdened with diaper bags and strollers we already were. The rooms were comfortable. We really liked watching the ferry come and go from the balcony!

Excellent service. The host picked us up from the ferry terminal, took us to rent bikes and helped us book restaurants and taxi transfers. She was extremely helpful and responsive and reached out to us even before we arrived. The location is a few minutes bike ride from restaurants. The room was clean and bigger than expected. Breakfast was provided each morning and they let us borrow snorkels for our kids. We loved staying in xiao liu qiu.

Beautiful location and really great rooms. Could see sea turtles swim by in the evenings. We rented scooters at the harbor and had our bags sent to the hotel by taxi. Would highly recommend getting scooters to get around the island as taxis are not very available.

The room I had, with terrace, was super nice and big, very clean, comfortable bed, ''funny view'' in the day (next to a small zoo) and amazing by night (you can see Taiwan mountains / lights when there is not too much clouds/pollution). But the best point to me was the lady at the reception : her English is good, and she was so flexible to answer my demands, find solution, advice me, etc. etc. etc. That was very much appreciated ! As in almost every places in Liuqiu, you need a Scooter or a bicycle at least to enjoy this place.

Drinking water and coffee, and even sample packs of snacks provided free. Miss Jidan is friendly and warm, super helpful and helped us book a scooter (and helped us return the scooter as well) and water activities at short notice and at good rates. The TV had English & Chinese movies. The hostel has plenty of food options and a convenience store just steps away. It is just a short walk, after alighting from the ferry.
