Breakfast was very good, lovely pancakes and fresh fruit. They served coffee with cinnamon- it was really nice. It is in a quiet location so very easy to relax and enjoy. We were able to attend their seafood barbeque night and the grilled shrimp was best I have ever had.

*A Peaceful Paradise with Purpose* Palmera Zanzibar is a serene oasis just outside a charming village. I loved the peaceful garden, the spotless infinity pool, and the magical ocean views—especially at sunset. The food was creative, delicious, and all homemade (including fresh breads and cakes!). My room was beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, sea view, and solar-powered AC—much appreciated in the heat! What makes Palmera truly special is its mission: it’s part of the More Than A Drop Hospitality College, training underprivileged girls for careers in hospitality. The staff and students were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel safe and welcome. Highly recommended—for both the experience and the amazing cause behind it.

The location is beautiful - it’s the last hotel on the road, there was almost nobody at the beach, and the hotel itself is also really nice (small houses with decent amount of space and privacy) The staff is extremely friendly, special shoutout to Kassim that made the great experience - from serving exceptional food and drinks to fully organising and guiding additional tours in reasonable prices and with great fun.
