We have spent a fabulous week at Michamvi Sunset Bay and wished we could have stay longer. The resort was lovely -recently renovated, stunningly beautiful and just a perfect size to have enough space for all guests, while at the same time not feeling isolated. The rooms, restaurant, pool, all communal spaces and even the beach were all spotlessly clean. The beach bar is wonderful - the view is amazing and the drinks are great. Rooms are very spacious and are cleaned daily; all have private terraces or balconies - we have stayed in the ground floor which was very handy with 2 kids. We have opted for full board and have not regretted it for a moment, as the food was very tasty. Dinner is served in a different location every night. What really makes this place though is the staff- everyone was simply amazing, from the management through the reception, restaurant and bar staff, housekeeping, gardeners ... The whole team pampers the guests and makes them feel at home. Shirley cares about every detail and was always available to help with anything guests could need. Thank you for everything! (And lots of love to Kelele and Freddy)

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel located directly on the white and fine sand beach, very close (10 minutes walk on the beach) to a symbol of Zanzibar, The Rock restaurant. The location is perfect for those who want total relaxation and quick access to the turquoise water of the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help us, always with a smile on their faces. The food was delicious and varied, with options to satisfy all tastes. The room was cleaned daily, and everything was always impeccable. The superb view of the Indian Ocean completes this unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a dream vacation!

Exceptional place to stay. The facilities - swimming pool, bar and restaurant were all first class. Food was delicious. Best of all was the wonderful welcome and hospitality shown by the fantastic owners Petra and Thomas. The accommodation and Ramona are wonderful. Nothing is missing here and the place is super beautiful! There is a fully equipped kitchen, great rooms, a barbecue area and super lovely dogs to look after. Ramona is always on hand with help and advice. We extended from one night to six nights because we liked it so much. Great! Absolutely 10/10 :)
