My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel during our trip to Zanzibar, and it turned out to be such an amazing experience that we couldn’t leave! We had originally booked for just 2 nights, but after the first night, we were so impressed that we decided to extend our stay by an additional 3 nights, staying until the end of our trip. That decision turned out to be one of the best we made during our entire vacation! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine care. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction made us feel completely at home and created a truly unforgettable experience. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully designed furniture made from local materials, adding an authentic and unique charm to every space. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony that gave us a beautiful view of the ocean. Sitting there in the morning, watching the ocean, was the perfect way to start each day. It was simple, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for on a vacation. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, keeping everything spotless and ensuring we had everything we needed every single day. The hotel also has direct beach access, where we enjoyed the soft sand and stunning ocean views. The addition of private sun loungers reserved exclusively for guests made it easy to relax in comfort and enjoy the beautiful Nungwi beach. The cuisine at this hotel is absolutely world-class! We tried many other places around Zanzibar, but the food here was by far the best. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every dish was crafted to perfection with a perfect balance of local flavors and international flair. The meals, paired with quick and friendly service, quickly became one of the highlights of our days.

Beautiful facilities. Great host and staff - they are really accommodating and attentive. The breakfast is delicious and varied. The rooms/bungalows are cute.

Food, people, everything was amazing

Light of Zanzibar Hotel is located just a 2-5 minutes walk from the stunning Nungwi Beach (depending if you go through the town or straight to the beach). It has everything you might need, comfortable beds, hot water, mosquito nets and AC. There is a fridge outside your room which you share with the two other rooms on your floor to keep your water nice and cold. Paul and all the other staff are absolutely wonderful, kind and very helpful, just ask if you need anything, they will definitely do all they can to help you out. The served breakfast is always delicious, it varies a little every day so you never eat the same thing. Once we had to take our breakfast an hour early and everyone was so nice that we left with satisfied stomachs. If were ever back to Zanzibar, we’ll stay here again!

Very calm and luxurious atmosphere.. Extremely polite people from the reception through the sexurity to chefs in restaurant. Very delicious food in dinner set menu! Romantic floating breakfast I'm the villa's pool! Thanks a lot for this happy. moments! Keep doing the same way!!!

Everything about our stay was amazing but it was the beautiful staff such as Fina who made it exceptional. She made us feel like we were home - so hospitable!

The villas will far over perform your expectations: the size, the spaces , the level of comfort , the ocean, etc Perfect service of the staff. Any wish only a Whatsup message . Good food . The chef try to meet all your expectations. If you are on full board, you are really in position that you desire to try everything, but have no chance for it . Pool and Jacuzzi over the sea. . Their engagement for your perfect stay absolutely deserves 10
