Absolutely fantastic hotel, we loved everything about it. The room was huge, as was the balcony. Very clean and tidy. The owner was brilliant despite not speaking English. My car broke down in the morning as we left and he drove me into town twice to get the parts and helped me fix the clutch in the carpark and bought us food! The location was great near the border. A shame we could’ve stay longer!

I stayed at the hotel for three days and can assure you it's a great value. The rooms are simple but clean, with new bathroom fixtures, a hairdryer, and disposable toiletries. I don't know if there is a fridge in any of the rooms but mine didn't. I especially enjoyed the local cuisine, which you can sample right there on the ground floor. You can tell the chef cooks with passion, and every dish is a gastronomic experience. From the very first day, it was clear that the entire staff values ​​their work; they are always responsive and happy to help with any problems or questions, and for some reason they flatly refuse to accept tips.

The location was probably great for car travel. It is walking distance to the town centre, but not so close. Steak in the restaurant was excellent, very well prepared and presented. The meat portion was a very good size. Coffee at breakfast was great. Liked the walk-in shower in the bathroom. The bathroom had plenty of space.
