Loved the back porch and the view. Walking along the river was beautiful also. You have a beautiful place and we are definitely going to return with our kiddos for a pony ride!

The individual buildings and general setting has considerable charm: Trees, grass, fresh air, and hens running loose. With ample parking space, it is possible to reverse up to the door to unload, then park more tidily. There is access to Wind River from the garden (through a gate that should be child safe for younger children); some guests were fishing when I went to take a look. The lodge is well situated for visits to the nearby national parks and reserves, and coffee and restaurants can be found in Dubois.
