What not to like, the hosts Nance and Thom are so welcoming into their lovely home. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. There are lots of nice restaurants in the vicinity and for breakfast you can stay in as they prepare a fabulous breakfast with fruit (if in season) from their own back yard (which is huge btw). If you are going to Shenandoah and this place is avaible look no further! A place with a heart Ps.if you have the chance to be there at 5:30 you can enjoy a nice drink at their bar!

This was my absolute favorite place to stay during a 10 day trip. The location, property, room, view and amenities were absolutely fabulous. The room was comfortable and clean, the view was spectacular and a short drive to Charlottesville and Shenandoah National Park. A huge bonus for me were the farm animals- they were friendly and obviously well taken care of. I also appreciated the stack of firewood for a campfire overlooking the gorgeous valley, it was very quiet and the stars were spectacular. Thank you!

All facilities from a regular house. Great spot to plan your trips from. Beautiful area, so quiet, good spot to escape bussy city live. Good place to enjoy nature. Be careful driving at night in the area. Had to let the dear and a raccoon cross the road. The pictures do not give the place justice it's much nicer.
