If you take the boat tour to Kenai Fjords you can leave the car at the motel, and reach the boarding point in 2 mins walk. There is a gas station on the corner as well which is convenience when you planning a trip. Also enjoyed the sea life center. Other occupants seemed to be using the hotel for a nice spot to stay the night before their cruise, but it was comfortable and homey even for a longer stay of 4 nights.
