The room was very cozy, and private, despite the fact that there's a restaurant at the facility. I loved the fact that when it comes to breakfast, you can actually choose any option from their breakfast menu. Our room did not come with a microwave, but I requested one and they delivered, which was really helpful when ordering takeaway at night

Super nice owners (trying to even find me a motorcycle). Wonderful food, incredible breakfast included. The location of the Lodge, the peace and quiet, the vegetation, everything is extraordinary. If you come in from Johannesburg , like I did, this is like an oasis, like finding water in the desert. I was also lucky because I lost my South Africa map, the staff helped me look for it, and during the process, they found my pants and a shirt in the cabinet, which I had put there the night before, and would’ve forgotten there otherwise.

Mynie is the most caring host. She made us feel very welcome and spoilt us with unexpected treats for breakfast. Her hospitality is without limits. The layout is ideal for more than one family getting together. There is a lovely big garden for the kids to romp around and a pool to cool off in. We had a braai on the patio under the beautiful trees and Mynie set the table up as we were celebrating a belated birthday for my 94 year old mom. The rooms are well equipped, the bigger unit offers a full kitchen and space for a camping cot. All the beds are comfortable and the air conditioning an absolute life saver as it was very hot.
