we had the Zebra Cottage of the accommodation options of the reserve and it was fantastic. Beautiful views, remote, we enjoyed every minute of our stay! we had a drive on the reserve and saw a lot of animals.

A hidden gem 🌸 We enjoyed every second of our 3-days stay - Happiness, the staff, the owner & her cute son did their utmost ❤️ The breakfast was delicious, Dinner as well. The Tranquility, coziness, location, hospitality all on a high level. Our twin girls enjoyed to play in the garden, Playground, pool and with the animals (cat, turtle), Billard. You can also book animal spotting for Zebras, antilopes, ostrich- Thank you Brian! Perfect Location as well if you Want to Go (just 20min Drive) to Aquila (which is way too expensive). Wishing you and your Familien all the best!!

Location perfect, self catering facilities great, braai facilities great, furniture great, house spacious, rooms spacious, whole cottage well equipped, safe. Host went above and beyond to assist us before, during and after our stay. We would HIGHLY Recommend this cottage to a family with 2 even more children. Warm, comfortable, well furnished and lovely outside entertainment area. Garden well kept. Host more than accommodating and mindful of our needs and assistance in every way. We felt very welcome and cared for throughout the stay.

The chef went above a beyond accommodating our dietary preferences and creating us a lovely dish that was off menu. The facilities were great and we were pleasantly surprised by all the animals and the bouncy castle which my son loved. All in all the stay exceeded expectations. The ‘tents’ were spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The water pressure in the showers was really good.

With original buildings dating back to 1756, the Karoo 1 Hotel is a restructured farm located in Touwsrivier. It offers elegant rooms and features a swimming pool and a restaurant.

Amazing place, I can't begin to describe it. The view is amazing, the accommodation is perfect (fully equipped, comfortable). It really is the perfect secluded place to chill and enjoy nature and discover South Africa. The people are kind and accommodating. I will definitely stay there again, but this time for a few days!
