We were running late, arrived after 22.00 and the kind Finnish guy (i guess, owner of the hotel?) was waiting for us. The Schickster Sky Lodge was a great little getaway destination for my wife and I. We're parents and wanted to have a modern, comfortable, and affordable option. This place fulfilled all of those expectations. Check in was very easy and flexible and Stephan helped us store our bags while we attended the nearby spa. We'd definitely return!

Everything, from on our way to the interiors, exteriors, the location is breathtaking. Considering it was a summer season (July), the weather was really pleasant. The stream of the river/isar was soothing, and the smell of the trees around felt like we were part of nature. The staff were very hospitable , and it felt like we went back home to our parents' vacation home. Brigitt picked us up from the train station even if we arrived late, and she also dropped us back to the train station when we checked out. We loved the amazing hospitality of this lodging.
