The location was very central to town. The staff were very helpful and were willing to answer questions. Bonus: A pass to ride the tram for free and enter musuems for half-price. Everything was ok. The breakfast was very tasty, the room was big and very clean and the location was perfect, close to the city centrum.

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. Delicious breakfast for a fair price, with a very nice view to the internal garden.The room wasn't the biggest room but it had enough space for 2 people and it was very well equipped, clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was fabulous and the bed was very comfy. The owners are at another level of taking care for their guests and their place. I felt very welcome with all the small details from power plug adapter to city map with audioguide and small fridge with items at the supermarket price. No doubts would come here again.

Very kind and very sweet. 2. The property is very clean. You can tell the host takes good care of the place. 3. There are two very comfortable beds in the room. I had a very sound sleep. 4. There’s a TV with several channels and all the modern apps. 5. The nights were very quiet with no disturbance. 6. The location is perfect. Really close to the center with trams a short walk from the property. 7. Great value for money and I would book it again next time I’m in Basel. 8. A very nice a thoughtful gift after the stay. She allowed me to store my luggage after check out for pick up later.

The location was very close to the tram and bus station just a 15 minutes ride to the city center was also very well located near markets and Basel Airport . The apartament was very clean and comfortable . You could access it very easily ! The neighbour was very quite and safe !
