Super cool place with large shared rooms maybe the biggest one I ever stayed. The facilities are very new and smart, everything were in good place. Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. I was greeted by Elmira at the welcome desk and she made my stay very special. Always greeted with a warm smile and the hotel staff attended to all my requests. Alex from reception also had great dinner recommendations. The hotel is clean, very central, quiet, close to the main station, and has perfect water pressure. The breakfast is also fresh and super yummy.
