The traditional wooden chalet was set in a beautiful location at the top of the mountain in Brambruesch, a gondola/cable car ride or 20/30 minute car journey from Chur city centre. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. We had a large family room with stunning views over the valley. It had a large comfy double bed plus bunk beds and a table and seating for 6 people. Bergpension Battagliahutte had a great homely feel thanks to the hosts Tomas and his lovely family who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

PRIVÀ Alpine Lodge has an indoor swimming pool, a children's pool, sunbathing areas and a fitness room and it features ski-to-door access. A ski bus stops at the property, and the Rothorn cable car station is just 400 metres away. Surely a very nice place with clean apartments, nice facilities and kind staff. The apartment was modern and very well kept. Access from the underground parking is well thought and convenient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the wellness area which is well equipt with everything we needed to replenish after our time in the variety of saunas.

The resort consists of three houses with different room categories - from cosy double rooms to spacious family suites. The hotel meets standards of a five star hotel in more aspects than expected. Easily accessible Free water refills 24/7 plus an endless supply of free Shorley, local fizzy drinks and sealed bootlegs of sparkling water. The breakfast service was excellent with perfectly cooked eggs and all necessities of international breakfast buffet, not to mention the perfectly baked croissants and other bakeries. The front desk staff are polite and knowledgeable to all enquiries about activities and the hotel facilities. A warm welcome desert and lovely message was to meet us at the room. The coffee and milk was refilled daily. The rooms are spacious with multiple compartments providing privacy to the tenants and beautifully set out with a marvelous view. Located at 1,600 metres above sea level in Sporz in the Lenzerheide/Valbella region, Maiensässhotel Guarda Val consists of 11 different buildings, some of which are around 300 years old. The gourmet restaurant was awarded 16 points in the Gault Millau guide. Truly, one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. I will be dreaming of this place until our next visit. The staff, room, spa, food, setting, massage, service were ALL remarkable.
