Built in 1915 and representing an important part of the historical heritage of Lausanne, the Lausanne Palace is an elegant 5-star hotel in the heart of the business and shopping district. The room and the view of the lake and the mountains were exceptional. We also took advantage of the private spa room, which was exactly what the doctor ordered.

Renovated and housed in an Art Deco building, the family-run hotel is located in a quiet pedestrian area in the centre of Lausanne, near Flon Metro Station and a 10-minute walk from the train... Very modern and convenient to the city centre and transport. Great breakfast. Lovely staff.

Location is good, in the center. Clean, organized apartment. The owner provided cleaning/room service every day, including changing towels, filling in coffee/tee. The terrace is very nice, allows to sit outside and rest/eat. Few notes for visitors, as i myself like to read for information; Montreux is on hills, take into consideration that even if close to the lake, the path can be steep and not convenient for everyone by foot. there is a bus to use of course. the apartment has a bedroom and living room where there is sofa that you can open for additional 2 people, but in my opinion, the sofa is good for children, less for adults, possible to sleep but not ideal.

The apartment was perfect, the area was beautiful, and J&L were wonderful people who made us feel at home. Couldn’t wish for a better accommodation, can strongly recommend!
