I purposely booked a room to experience the hotel and its location this time. It exceeded my expectations. The hotel is 2 minutes from the Famous Paradaplatz, allowing for multiple choices for transit use, and the famous Bahnhofstrasse with its high-end shops and cafes. The hotel is also located in the city's old section, making walking in any weather enjoyable. It is also within walking distance of Lake Zurich, Bellevueplatz, Train Station, and Zurich's old, cobblestone streets. This place is at the heart of it all, with the price tag of other hotels nearby. The room was great. Due to the heavy rain on this trip, I utilized the room more than usual. I loved that the room included fresh fruit on the table, a big bottle of mineral water and a personalized note welcoming me. This was a pleasant and unexpected treat—a lovely touch and enough to want me to return. There is also a hot beverage machine with complimentary coffee and tea. I could make myself comfortable sitting back and relaxing while watching a movie thanks to the TV Chromecast allowing direct streaming from my phone to the TV. The staff was excellent!! The front desk person, Crazy-nails (you know who you are), helped me check-in. She was delightful and put a smile on my face. Very friendly and social. It made me feel more like a good friend than a paying guest. It was a very refreshing change after a tough week.

Re-opened after extensive renovations in December 2016, CITY STAY - Lindenstrasse is located in Zürich, 900 metres from Zurich Opera House. Kunsthaus Zurich is 1.4 km from the property. Private parking is available on site. Its clean and looks new. Good location near the lake and few tram stops from city centre. Very convenient.

For an additional charge, guests can enjoy the public thermal bath and spa, comprising different swimming pools, a wellness area and a steam bath. I like everything about it. Might go back every year now.

All rooms at Hotel St. Josef have a TV, a refrigerator, and a tea/coffee maker. WOW! This very welcoming and comfortable hotel must be the best value-for-money accommodation in central Zürich! The staff are wonderfully hospitable and kind. Even before we arrived they went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even though - as we discovered - there was a huge event taking place in the city, which must surely have added to their workload. Staff member Susanna even advised our friends, who drove down from Germany, where they could find free car parking on Sunday, and welcomed them to join us at the hotel for breakfast. (A varied and plentiful breakfast is already included for hotel residents, and we found it reasonably priced for our friends to join us!) I really appreciated the varied and good quality gluten-free breakfast options on offer too! The hotel is ideally situated for those arriving and leaving by public transport. It's only a 5 minute walk from Zürich Hauptbahnhof, and hotel staff are happy to organize a shuttle to take guests to the airport. Despite being so central, the hotel location is quiet and restful, within easy walking distance from transport stations, the river Limmat, good restaurants, and other central city attractions. We highly recommend this friendly and comfortable hotel and would gladly return here anytime. With many thanks!

With city views, this accommodation provides a balcony. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Beautiful location with easy walk to the train or bus station. We would stay here again if we end up back in Zurich. Plenty of space and an elevator so you don't have to carry your bags up steps. If you have kids the Xbox was a hit.

The property features city and inner courtyard views, and is less than 1 km from Main Railway Station Zurich. The property is non-smoking and is situated 300 metres from Fraumünster. Perfect for a family of 4! We were surprised at how spacious the apartment was. We had everything we needed for a few night stay. The location in Old Town is exceptional for sightseeing and exploring and the communication with the owner is FABULOUS. She really made sure we were taken care of and had what we needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
