I think some of the customer reviews of Hotel Wafou are a bit harsh. Of course, there’s always room for improvement, but overall it’s a really nice option. Compared to many other hotels in Abidjan, it offers a pleasant setting and solid services at a price that’s not cheap, but fair given the competition. The place is beautiful, even if some areas could use a refresh – but we all know that rain, sun, and heat don’t go easy on facilities. The pool is gorgeous, the amphitheater impressive, and the restaurant is good (though not cheap). The staff is lovely, the rooms are original, clean, and functional. The AC works perfectly and all the expected services are there. So, if you’re looking for a nice hotel in Abidjan, convenient for work, in a lively and well-located neighborhood like Biétry, I’d recommend Hotel Wafou.
