For those of us who were going elsewhere and have been roughing it for a bit this hotel is a nice reset. The staff are great, kind, and while the check in process takes a bit longer it is well worth the wait. The room is spacious, brand new, clean - it was exactly what I was looking for. Chances are I'll be staying and going to San Agustin once more. There's one thing I do know - I'm not staying anywhere else but here.

At Avani del desierto the rooms have a seating area. Colourful, gorgeous and spacious little individual cabins. The hosts are very kind and welcoming and helpful despite the language barrier in my case. It’s located on the road to the Tatacoa Desert so you can easily get a tuk tuk to pick you up from the hostel to go. A small 6 minute walk to the VillaVieja city center. Had a great stay would definitely recommend!

A recently renovated guest house located in Villavieja, LUNA del DESIERTO TATACOA features a shared lounge. The property features quiet street views. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed. Good location - quiet at night but short walk to center. Opted for AC as temps were hot. Manager arranged a Tuk Tuk pick up in theafternoon to see a sunset, as well as a 5 am start to see a sunrise. Also arranged a moto pick up to Aipe after taking the ferry, saving a couple of hours in the bus ride to Armenia.

The kind attention l got from Mrs Patricia, she is very nice explaining the property, l got the apartment l was expecting, love the views from the mountains, has lots of natural light and no mosquitoes going into the apartment, has additional rooms and beds that can accommodate more people, like the kitchen and the main room was spacious. In general l like it a lot. It’s a new apartment complex with private security it made you feel safer in. In general great attention and service from everyone there.

Very beautiful, calm place and close to a viewpoint. A bit outside town. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
