This lodge provides a restaurant as well as a bar. Unique place to stay in the center of Copley. Unit across the fish pond from the restaurant of the organic farm. Large size room with ample space for up to 3 adults (our party consisted of only two adults). Considering that the nights get quite cold in this area, the room kept a reasonable temperature over night, with thick blankets provided. Reasonably warm water for a good morning shower (which is a big plus, since it is not always the case in other properties in the area). Pleasant environment with nice staff members (family run place). Possibility to eat in the restaurant whereby the trout comes fresh from the fish pond.

Including the restaurant.

I go here every year. Martin and his family always look after us with lots of care. The casitas are simple but comfortable and the location is amazing - right in beautiful nature
A little piece of paradise. The hotel was well maintained, the staff were very friendly, the food was delicious and the birds put on a show. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.
We liked everything and especially Tami’s employees and coworkers. Quetzal trip with Evelyn is absolutely stunning. The food in belonging restaurant is top equaly as the owner and his family. Accommodation itself is lovely. 👍👍👍
Brilliant hotel especially if you are into birds especially if you want to see a Quetzal. Rooms were great. Breakfast was fantastic. The guide (part of the family) was knowledgeable, kind and informative. Great trials direct from the hotel. Possibly the best hotel during our 3 week stay in Costa Rica.
The cabin was beautiful, all timber which smelled amazing and was fitting for the location. Beautiful big windows looking out towards the river and the absolute best shower we had in a 13 day trip. Alicia who's grandfather was one the pioneers of the valley was absolutely delightful and provided us with outstanding service, and it was fantastic to learn her families history. We genuinely hope to come back and visit again.
Beautiful location, with lovely gardens to enjoy and great walks along the riverside. Lots of hummingbirds for birders. The staff were super friendly and hard working, made our stay all the more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend. We stayed as a family of 4 with two children 9&11, and the space worked really well for us. You could close off the curtains in the evening for privacy if needed.
The place was incredible the owners even helped to find clothes for my kids, I will definably be back in the future. For the price this was on of the best places I've stayed in Costa Rica and the climate was absolutely incredible.
It is a nice, small, clean place. The guy at the reception was very kind and helpful. Having the restaurant onsite is a plus eventhough the portiones could be bigger. For staying with small kids I recommend to look somewhere else though. Our kids enjoyed the premised and the freedom to run around but they were both leaving with runny noses and a cough due to the cold nights (we had enough warm clothes).
Los Lagos Lodge is a beautiful family run property with lovely gardens and charming cabins in The Valley. The Hosts are wonderful and made us feel very welcome and at home, they accommodated special requests such as organising a pick up for us at the bus station and serving us breakfast extra early in time for our departure. The breakfast at Los Lagos Lodge is the best we’ve had in Costa Rica.
