Norem, Esteban and Valeria made us feel at home right away and went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast and dinner (with the hummingbirds around) were delicious, prepared to the point and with several dishes to choose from. The cabins are all new, very well designed and furnished, the bathroom with steady and immediate hot and cold water supply. A garden with a small trail are in the making and will make spending time in the crisp and clean mountain air even more worthwhile. We can highly recommend Curuba Lodge which became our favorite place in Costa Rica! Tip: Esteban can connect you with a few guides to see the rare and iconic Quetzal birds.

The cabin had a lovely view and was very comfortable. The restaurant served excellent local trout.

A big thank you to the staff and especially to the lovely grandmother who delighted us every morning with giant breakfasts, made with love and local products. A gesture that made our stay even more special! We absolutely recommend this place to anyone seeking peace, nature, and an authentic, unforgettable experience.

Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant. The property also offers mini-market. Spacious tent from where you have a beautiful view over the garden and the valley. Even from the shower you can enjoy this nice view. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Good breakfast and dinner from local produce are served in a close-by local restaurant with very professional and friendly staff. We saw the quetzal bird (the main reason why we stayed here) on an early morning tour which was a nice experience.

Set in Providencia, 42 km from Manuel Antonio, Savegre Hotel Natural Reserve & Spa features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. We loved our stay here. Everything was perfect. And the food was probably the best value for money we had in all of our 30 day trip in Costa Rica. Had really nice meals with wine at a reasonable price. Walked the trails looking for birds, comfy room, nothing negative to say at all. We booked last minute and paid a very reasonable rate for our stay.
