There is also a small café on site with delicious cakes and smörrebröd. Dinner is possible but to be booked in advance. We will return.

A really lovely, peaceful place with a natural garden, a helpful owner and staff. Delicious breakfasts and dinners (need to be pre-ordered), to all tastes and needs, served in a zero-waste way. Rooms with terraces overlooking the fruit trees and flower, plus other areas to use, ie a big, cosy sunroom, a hammock corner etc. Everything very tastefully decorated, with wild flowers always on tables. A sweet, quaint town center within a walking distance, as well as a great beach with clear waters, a birds reservations and breathtaking views of rocky shore when you go towards Nexo. We generally enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend the place :)

Melsted Badehotel is situated on the beachfront in Gudhjem, 6 km from Østerlars Church and 7.3 km from The Sanctuary Cliffs. The property is around 13 km from Brændegårdshaven, 15 km from The Echo Valley and 20 km from Natur Bornholm. Some rooms at the property have a terrace with a sea view. Another excellent stay at Melsted. Wanted to book 4 nights but stayed only two as hotel was booked for an event. Had dinner two nights at the restaurant. Excellent experience both nights and I strongly recommend to make reservations - it was packed. Breakfast great with good options, cappucino available at extra cost. Will be back next yr.
