The train which arrives to Tampere goes under this Arena Hotel, and you can see it from the train station, so it is very easy to find it. It's 5 min walk. Despite of this I rarely heard the trains from my room. You have access to the Nokia Arena from the hotel too, and if you have ticket, you don’t have to go out and enter again. The receptionist told me that I can use any entrance I want to get in the hotel, but I prefered to use the one labeled with „Lapland Hotel Arena”. The receptionist and everybody were very very kind, polite and helpful. The breakfast was a bufet. It was rich (one of the richest I saw in north Europe) and you can choose whatever you want. Sweet and salty, cold and cooked, everything. There were „free from” options too, As a vegetarian I had no problem to find soooo many things to eat. The food were labeled in both English and Finnish. There were non-vegetarian food too. My favourite were the blueberry juice and that spicy baked potato. I saw several type of joghurt in a jar, but I didn’t find a small bowl for it, maybe it was for drinking. I have never had a breakfast in candel light before, but it was super super fancy. But the fanciest thing, what I liked the most was the elevator. Some rooms have sauna, but alternatively you can use the one on the 12th floor. I didn’t try them, but it’s Finnland I guess it is perfect. On the TV screen you have access to many important information about the hotel and the room, including room service, air conditioner, room sauna, everything. This was the only one hotel in north Europe I stayed, where I could open the window. I was very happy for it. In the bathroom there were soap, shampoo, body wash, everything with Skandinavian pine scent. It was a bit strong, what I didn’t like for the first time, but after I read it is a scent of pine I realized, that this is really is. There were a kettle, cups, coffee and tea bags in the room, and iron if you need it. Just can't wait to come back.

This hotel is located in the heart of Jyväskylä, on the pedestrian street Kauppakatu, 300 metres from Jyväskylä train station. A Finnish breakfast is served in the Silmu restaurant daily. Free WiFi is available. Fantastic staff, great location and amazing food!

Skiing, fishing and hiking are possible within the area, and the accommodation offers a ski school. Everything has been great! The apartment is very comfortable and nice with spectacular views to the lake. One can spent hours just looking through the balcony. Jussi, the host, was supernice since the first message and in person when he showed us the apartment. He had provided very clear guidance to find the building which was very helpful. He was also very kind providing us with some food for breakfast and he gave us clear instructions to turn on the sauna which we used both nights. Also, having air conditioning was a plus as we were exhausted due to the unexpected hot weather. We could spend many more days in such a beautiful place!! We really reccommend it.

We stayed with child and they provided mattress instead of sofa bed, it was very cute :) They had very clear instruction how to make from sofa bed to sleeping bed :) every single detail was noticed. Övermark Bed & Breakfast is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Ylimarkku, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. My family really enjoyed our experience at Overmark B&B. We were driving between Oulu and Turku, visiting the wooden villages. The countryside was beautiful, the hosts were just the perfect amount of friendly and fed us a delicious and abundant breakfast. The hosts welcomed us to use the kitchen area, as needed. So, we had bread, ham, cheese, and wine with us and enjoyed supper, using the kitchen's knife, cutting board, plates, corkscrew, and stemware, then watched television in the family room before bed, slept comfortably, and appreciated the clean environment. The shower room is detached; it's very clean and easy to use. Our bedroom had a toilet and sink ensuite. The historic building has been thoughtfully preserved.
