Cheltenham is a 25-minute drive away. Amazing little hotel right in the centre this beautiful village. Ample parking for guests. The room was adjacent to the parking lot on the ground level which was really convenient. The room was large, very clean, very comfy and big bed like in the best hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful (Simone). The hotel has a wonderful bar and excellent restaurant for the evening meal. Absolutely no need to go looking elsewhere although we were also recommended a great burger place just opposite the hotel for lunch. The breakfast was lovely, buffet style - cereals, cheeses, yoghurts and continental, plus tea/coffee and eggs to order.

Nestled in the pretty Gloucestershire village of Coln St Aldwyns, this beautiful country inn offers a garden overlooking meadows and elegant, individually designed rooms with modern amenities.

Featuring ancient oak beams, fine fabrics and luxurious beds, rooms are full of character. They include a flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a power shower or roll-top bath and either terrace or meadow views. This inn perfectly matches the charm of the village, super cozy and with a nostalgic, almost timeless feel, yet offering all the modern comforts. Our room was spacious and spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom included a tub, just as we had requested. The restaurant was also excellent, we really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return!

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Stow on the Wold Scandi Chic Authentic Cottage provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a terrace. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. The property was so beautiful.. sadly we only stayed one night.. but could have easily have stayed there a week. So beautifully welcoming and cosy.. and in the perfect location!

Stylish one bed apartment in the Stroud Valleys, a property with a garden, is situated in Brimscombe, 24 km from Cotswold Water Park, 43 km from Lydiard Park, as well as 46 km from Royal Crescent. It is set 19 km from Kingsholm Stadium and offers luggage storage space. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. You can tell a lot of pride goes into the presentation and cleanliness of the apartment. It was spotless and well thought out. The apartment feels very private, quiet and peaceful and the bed, pillows and bedding were very comfy. It was spot on for our one night stay with our dogs and would have happily stayed longer! 🙂

Continental and Full English/Irish breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and fresh pastries are available. Guests are welcome to eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, brunch and cocktails. This cottage was beautiful, decorated with a mixture of old and modern. It was exceptionally clean and no comfort was spared. The cottage was fully heated on arrival and you also had the choice of more heat if you wished. There were plenty of towels, and really comfy beds. There are 2 bathrooms downstairs and a toilet and sink upstairs. Both bedrooms were very spacious. There was also a fully heated and very clean hot tub ready to use during anytime of the stay. The cottage is great for dogs, as it is easy to clean and there is a fenced out door space for them and a lovely walk through fields to the river Severn, to the front left of the cottage. There is also the added bonus of The Hub being a stones throw away, which has a store and a cafe - which was very friendly and had a good selection of food including. Veggie breakfast. Highly recommended.
