It felt like we were stepping back in time, much like an ocean liner/ship from the past. Matt greeted us warmly upon arrival and helped us get checked in quickly. The staff in the bar were excellent as well, making us feel welcome immediately. It was a great experience and we hope to return someday to enjoy a longer stay.

Featuring private parking, the apartment is 800 metres from Edinburgh Castle. The property is 400 metres from the city centre and 500 metres from Royal Mile. The apartment was huge and perfect for our weekend getaway. It was very nicely furnished with a comfortable couch and the bed even more comfortable. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Distillers house has been refurbished with great care and love for details. (The railings in the hallways alone are so beautiful that I would have gladly stayed in the hall. 😄) Our apartment had the most beautiful bathroom and a shared kitchen/sitting room/bedroom with wooden floors and a very impressive corniced ceiling. It was perfect for self-catering, however, there are so many shops and pubs just outside that you’ll easily sth. delicious within a few minutes walk. Haymarket (train station) is just 4 minutes on foot, and alle the major sights of Edinburgh are 20’ on foot away - of if you don’t fancy walking, you can catch the tram 🚃 just outside the door.

Boasting a central location in Edinburgh, a 2-minute walk from Waverley railway station and a 5-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle, The Old Town Chambers apartment development offers modern, luxury apartments with free Wi-Fi. Location was ultimate. I think the expectation vs reality in terms of place was way beyond expectation. if in Edinburg this is THE PLACE to stay
