We chose this hotel mainly based on location and reviews — but what we discovered truly amazed us! This is a real paradise for children. Yes, parents are well taken care of too, but the main guests here are definitely the kids. Everything throughout the hotel is designed with children in mind: toy cars, play areas, drawing boards around every corner, a kids’ room, a special buffet at child height with a child-friendly menu, and a water park with zones for all ages. We only wish we had known about this place when our kids were younger. Of course, when you’re on holiday with kids, you’re still a parent — but this hotel makes life so much easier.

Lovely small hotel with great attention to detail. My grandson has celiac disease and every morning they waited him with delicious GF food. He was happy and we were all grateful. The hotel has a restaurant which is fantastic. We had some truly memorable meals there, including my grandson. The pool was fun. Balatonszemes is a quaint place with great beaches and restaurants and confectioneries. We especially enjoyed the ice cream place in this hot weather. The room had great air conditioning but there were screens on the windows and as it cooled down for the night we opted to sleep by the open windows. Very quiet place at night.

Facing the beachfront in Balatonkenese, Kenese Bay Garden Resort & Conference has a bar and a garden. Brand new and modern. Very romantic! We were very impressed with the architecture and the interior design as well as the decorations. Everyone involved should receive high praise. The wellness area was not only lovely but also very refreshing. The views of the lake could not be better. The food was excellent. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We travel a lot for fun and we can definitely recommend this hotel.

The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. Very atmospheric and charming place to stay. Super nice staff and quiet location

An extraordinary hotel — new, clean, elegant, and refined, located in the city center. Everything was wonderful; it's a pity we only stayed one night. We’ll definitely return someday.

In the middle of a 17 hectare estate, close to the Lake Héviz, this 4-story hotel offers traditional Hungarian Hévizi treatments, a beauty and hair salon. This was a return trip for us and Lotus Hotel never disappoints. Service was excellent, facilities amazing, with super clean pools, saubas and rooms, great food, and altogether, a very relaxed atmosphere. The beautiful town of Heviz is only 2 km away so we took early morning walks to the town and had out first coffee there. As a bonus, there is a litttle show every night at the hotel and some of the performers are fantastic. All in all, a memorable holiday! We shall return!
