My grandson has celiac disease and every morning they waited him with delicious GF food. He was happy and we were all grateful. The hotel has a restaurant which is fantastic. We had some truly memorable meals there, including my grandson. The pool was fun. Balatonszemes is a quaint place with great beaches and restaurants and confectioneries. We especially enjoyed the ice cream place in this hot weather. The room had great air conditioning but there were screens on the windows and as it cooled down for the night we opted to sleep by the open windows. Very quiet place at night.

The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. The 200-years-old historic listed building gives the ambience of the 19th century. Some of the rooms have views of the Belső-tó. Very atmospheric and charming place to stay. Super nice staff and quiet location

Staff was welcoming and helpful (especially receptionist István) who gave us an electric kettle that we could use in our room. Very much appreciated! We liked also nice natural area around hotel, fresh air, lots of trees.
