The property is stunning. Extremely comfortable beds in spacious chalets on the beautiful beach. Excellent, easily accessed house reef. Delicious and beautifully presented food. Professional, friendly and attentive staff. Beat and his team go out of their way to make sure you want for nothing. We had an amazing week and cannot fault the place or the staff. We are quite fussy, and usually hard to please and I don’t usually write reviews! Go. You won’t be disappointed.

Location is superb...tropical island with excellent facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Views are outstanding around the Atoll. Great to kayak. Went diving and snorkeling...saw whalesharks, manta rays, huge turtles. Lepord shark+++. Definitely a place to visit.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely incredible warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make our time special. They went above and beyond to help us plan our days, offering thoughtful suggestions and arranging everything with such care. The accommodation itself was absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and surrounded by lush greenery. There were plenty of cozy spots to relax and soak up the jungle vibes. the free breakfast was unreal – fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to each day! This homestay felt like a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity, and the kindness of the family truly made it unforgettable. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

EVERYTHING IS FANTASTIC from the staff to the service.. breakfast was excellent, the receptionist who recommended me the breakfast didn't disappoint me at all.. the rooms are the most comfy rooms that I ever stayed at.. all and all I had a wonderful stay even it's just one night.. I will come back in the near future..

Astara Hotel Balikpapan ligger i Balikpapan, 15 km fra Batakan Stadium, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, et fitnesscenter og en have samt gratis privat parkering. Everyone were nice and helpful. The family room came with dinner or lunch for 2 people. Plus breakfast for 3. The food was ok, but its really is value for money, but be prepared for long time for them to prepare your order. you have to introduce yourself to the restaurant under room bundling, it takes a while them to reconfirm with the receptionist, but once its done its smooth daily thing ordering from them. Location wise is the best. Try to get north side of the rooms, because one you go down, its starbucks pentacity lobby. The staff were great and very respectful. They always smile. Rooms cleaning are fast unlike hotels ive stayed before. Well maybe aicrowave oven is a good idea in family room. We stayed for a week, and i think astara suits well for long stay.

But one of their staff, her name is Nanda, who also a driver to the airport gave us an outstanding excellent service in helping us to solve problem that we encountered during our stayed recently.i shall never forget her of being so helpful.
