THE HUGE BATHROOM WITH SHOWER AND BATH WAS ALSO A SURPRISE. WE DID NOT BOOK DINNER IN ADVANCE, BUT CHANGED OUR MIND AND WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE FOOD AND THE NEXT MORNING WITH BREAKFAST. WE WILL NEVER FORGET EVENING SITTING BY THE OPEN FIREPLACE WITH BIRCH LOG BURNING.

An ideal base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings of Carlow, Seven Oaks 4 star Hotel is a welcoming hotel, ideally located just 5 minutes walk from Carlow Town Centre. Carparking is complimentary for our residents and customers. The staff were great, I arrived a little early and was able to access the room immediately. Reception were helpful with any questions I had and the ,location was perfect, close to the train station as well as the wedding I was attending.

I was hopeful but cautious because I'd read very mixed reviews before we went. But honestly our three nights were absolutely fantastic, the perfect rest. I can't wait to go back. The food was exceptionally well cooked with a good range of choices. The staff (especially in the dining room) could not have been more friendly, professional and personable. It went beyond what I had hoped for and I have bookmarked Mount Wolsley as a perfect getaway and retreat.
