WE DID NOT BOOK DINNER IN ADVANCE, BUT CHANGED OUR MIND AND WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE FOOD AND THE NEXT MORNING WITH BREAKFAST. WE WILL NEVER FORGET EVENING SITTING BY THE OPEN FIREPLACE WITH BIRCH LOG BURNING.

Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is located just outside Carlow. Lovely comfortable, modern and clean room. Night porter was lovely when I checked in late.

An ideal base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings of Carlow, Seven Oaks 4 star Hotel is a welcoming hotel, ideally located just 5 minutes walk from Carlow Town Centre. My Husband and daughter stayed for one night and said it was lovely, Great selection for eating and very comfortable. Great Location very close to the town. No need to drive in as well within walking distance.

Within 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxurious hotel and spa boasts an 18-hole championship golf course and a 20-metre swimming pool. I was hopeful but cautious because I'd read very mixed reviews before we went. But honestly our three nights were absolutely fantastic, the perfect rest. I can't wait to go back. The food was exceptionally well cooked with a good range of choices. The staff (especially in the dining room) could not have been more friendly, professional and personable. It went beyond what I had hoped for and I have bookmarked Mount Wolsley as a perfect getaway and retreat.
