For guests with children, the apartment provides outdoor play equipment. Kildare Luxury Suites features a picnic area and a barbecue. The room was comfortable, very clean and spacious, with amenities to accommodate a longer stay. While we only stayed for one night, we would have happily stayed more if our travels plans allowed. The communal kitchen facility was handy and again would have easily lent itself to a longer stay.

Each of the 11 Castle Bedrooms are uniquely designed and the Carriage Rooms are located within the courtyard of Kilkea Castle where guests can choose from interconnecting and wheelchair accessible rooms. All rooms feature HDTV, luxury bathroom amenities and free WiFi. Breakfast was fabulous and a special thanks to Catriona in the restaurant for making breakfast an absolute delight

This 4-star farm stay offers luggage storage space and a shared lounge. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. An absolutely beautiful old family country house that has been tastefully transformed into a charming up market B&B. Mary and Raymond are delightful hosts - full of local knowledge and wonderful Irish hospitality. It really does feel like you are guests in their home. The house and location are in the heart of the countryside with lovely views. Needless to say that it is in a very quiet area and we slept beautifully! Breakfast is all home-made and cooked to perfection. Close, easy drive into Athy for dinner. Would have no hesitation to go back and stay if we were back in the beautiful area. Thanks for a wonderful stay both.

Mary made us so welcome. We checked in and Mary made us tea. We were going to a wedding the following day and so there was no worries about checking out late. Mary was particularly kind, making sure my elderly mother had fresh milk for her tea in the room. A fantastic stay I would highly recommend.

The K Club can provide golf tuition, and many other outdoor activities available include horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, falconry, tennis, archery and fishing. There is also a playground and a kids club. It’s my favourite hotel. Simply perfect.

Rooms at the Clanard Hotel have bathrooms with baths, power showers and hairdryers. They also include TVs, safes and luxurious duvets and bed linen. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous well laid out very upto date, lovely location, nice outdoor drinking area, food was delicious and the staff were so friendly.

The property is non-smoking and is set 20 km from County Carlow Military Museum. Great location in Athy .Down a quiet lane so you feel like your quiet rural but 2 minuets to town which is large enough so you can get what you want but small enough to have that village vibe .1 hour to Dublin 40 mins or so to the coast .Got a nice little welcome package on arrival , booking in was a breeze and Claudia couldn’t have been more helpful

We loved the accommodation, comfortable and every little detail provided, even food in the cupboards. Met the resident canine, Rolo who was adorable :) Helen, the host was very helpful and met all our expectations

Loved the woods next to the house! Great place for walking and exploring. The whole setup was just perfect for the family. Host was exceptional and lovely to talk to. Breakfast was great. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious.
