I will start by saying that ramlal and his family are the most hospitable and helpful people I have ever had the fortune of meeting. Without them, the incredible time we had in bandhavgarh would never have been possible. The property is located in the buffer zone between town and jungle which gives the amazing feeling of relaxation and adventure within a safe and comfortable environment. The rooms are very clean and well prepared. A comfortable bed, inviting sitting area out front and hot showers are a luxury so far away from most modern conveniences. The food, prepared and cooked by ramlal and his family are more delicious than most restaurant's I have eaten in. On top of this, we were ferried to and from the safari booking area and then guided through everything which would have been impossible on our own. Coming here with transport is advised. In short, Ramlal went above and beyond in every aspect of running the grounds. He truly is one of a kind and we cannot thank him and those who work with him enough for all their help. We would highly recommend Wildlife Retreat Bandhavgarh to any and everyone interested in seeing tigers and all of the other amazing wildlife. (We were lucky enough to see a tiger and it was an incredible moment for us, as well as many other fascinating and beautiful animals)

First off, the room (and bed) were very spacious, comfortable and clean. There was a giant windowsill/day bed that had wonderful light, there was an area for our clothes in addition to the large bathroom, giant bed and TV, and PRIVATE POOL! Wife did poolside yoga and I splashed around and laid out in the afternoons. SPECTACULAR service. Ganesh and his team really went the extra mile for us. Shuttled us back and forth to the safaris, Ganesh fought (and succeeded) on getting us Tala gate despite it being last minute (saw 6 tigers - worth getting Tala) and wow, the staff catered to our every need and kept the grounds immaculate, all with a smile and positive attitude. FOOD WAAS DELICIOUS and we got to enjoy it under the gazebo, on the lawn, in the dining building....we really felt like visiting royalty - such a special stay, wish we had more than our four nights.

Olive offers a children's playground. I and my wife stayed here for two nights as a part of bandhavgarh safari. The place itself is about 5 min drive from Tala gate. The surroundings are very nice, calm and quiet. The staff itself is excellent - always very helpful and keen to provide you with the food that you would like. Mr Prajapati was taking care of us to the last detail. The support staff is also very very courteous. The food taste is great. The rooms are also nice size and well equipped with all the modern amenities. Overall a wonderful place I would highly recommend to stay.

The monkeys were entertaining. The gardens are well kept and will be fabulous once all the flowers are in bloom. Loved the resident cats.
