We were traveling around Iceland and this horel was the best one. Hotel is located in wonderful nature by the lake, but only few minutes drive from Egillstadir. Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh.

The studio is composed of a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and 1 bathroom. Everything was excellent. Lovely location, here I saw the best northern lights from my window! Amazing view in the morning. They give you the basics things to cook like oil, salt, sugar, pepper, etc… excellent service!!

Cottage clean, Kitchenette had everything we needed. Easy check-in with code. Restaurants and Supermarket nearby (with car). Vöks bath 7 Min. from Cottages was perfect!

This property offers sea-view rooms with access to a fully equipped shared kitchen. WiFi and on-site parking are free. The guest house is spottless and welcoming. Our room was the last one (Number 11 or 12, can't remember) and being on the corner It has 2 windows with a lot of light. There are 3 huge toilets with showers, very clean and organized. We didn't use the shared living room and kitchen but they seemed tò be very comfortable. You Need tò leave the shoes at the guesthouse entrance (Icelandic habit) so Better have comfy shoes tò put on/off. breakfast was Amazing. Both restaurants and rooms are very very hot (we were here in August) so better dress in layers.

A gem in the middle of nowhere, over the top, worth every single euro spent. Definitely the most genuine accommodation you can find in Iceland, surrounded by sheep, dogs, and their pet reindeer. The restaurant is as sublime as the place itself.

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Jokla Guesthouse is a newly renovated modern facility. Everything is beyong my expectation when looking for an accommodation nearby the canyon. We love the decor and warmth of this place.
