Breakfast was also superb. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a room with lake view that was really nice. We did a road trip to East end of the Iceland and this was perfect place to stay on the east side.

The adjacent spa is small, but intimate, offering hot pools, cold bath and three different types of saunas. Last but not least, the resort offers food and drinks at their restaurant (including beers from the local brewery). We loved our stay here!

Food was tasty and good quality, same with beverages. We could check in after midnight.
