Great staff, very easy to communicate with them, they checked in with me about arrival time and made sure I had a nice bedroom. Breakfast in a place nearby offered gluten free options which was perfect for me. Bedroom was really nice, I had the twin room, very clean and all amenities available.

The host is incredibly helpful, we checked in late and he gave me a very detailed instructions to let us in and it was very smooth, and we also checked out early which is also no problem. The view is amazing, you can see the main church thru the balcony especially at night. We had a short stay but a memorable one.

This place is strategically located half way from the Matera central station on the downhill way to the city centre, in five minutes walking distance to both places, with everything you may need for your stay easily reachable on foot. It looks like the apartment in the residential building has been rebuilt to serve as an interesting concept of a mini hotel with a couple of comfortable, pleasant and quiet rooms, and the common space with the front desk and a small dining area, offering the free access to coffee/tea machine around the clock. The staff provided the luggage storage and texted us as soon as the room was ready, which we appreciated very much. If we find the time to visit Matera again, we'll definitely book this place again.

From the time we arrived at the reception we knew we were in for a great stay. The city and the hotel were magical , we did not want to leave. Antonio gave us the warmest welcome. He was informative and you knew the entire staff were dedicated to making your stay the best it could be. The breakfast was delightful with typical Italian selections and alternatives to meet anyone’s needs. It’s hard to put your camera down even the bathroom is worth a picture. We travel extensively and this stay definitely stands out . We would recommend and hope to return someday to enjoy their delightful wines and ambience , Millie Grazie
