We were there as a group of 7 young people and as you can imagine, we were very messy and loud, but the owners were very kind and friendly and didn't have problem with that. They cleaned the rooms everyday, even with the whole mess we were leaving after us. The breakfast had everything we needed and they were fine with any changes in the time to be served. I would definetly come back! Thank you for everythig!

The location in L'Aquila was quite convienient to many locations without being excessively noisy. The owner was very friendly and kind, with a great cuppacino each morning and good breakfast selection. The rooms were very stylish and cozy with spacious bathrooms. A very great stay!

Riccardo was excited to meet guests each morning and is very attentive and friendly. Also the room cleaning was extremely thorough. The breakfast was a nice selection of yoghurts, sweet cakes, fruits, some cereals, and good quality coffee/tea.

What can I say? This home was more than Sweet - it was a whole, peaceful experience in its own! Squeaky-clean, welcoming, and host very responsive, flexible, and accommodating (they could take me in last-minute, with just a few hours' notice, which was incredible). The rooms are cozy and you can get a wonderful night's sleep; the common space is quite large, and they have two balconies (one private, one common), where the view of the mountains is fantastic on both sides. Even if it was hot outside, inside the apartment, it was cool, breezy, and very comfortable. I also did remote work while staying here and had no issues. You can walk from the long-distance bus stop (Flibco, Gaspari Bus, TUA), and it is no more than 10 minutes on foot, though it may be a bit cumbersome if you have a lot of luggage. That being said, bus line 1 with the local bus stops just a few meters from the building, or you can walk a couple blocks to a nearby church, and catch bus lines 2, 2U, or 16. You can take the bus for 15-20 minutes, and reach the L'Aquilone mall in Pile without changing any lines! Good number of bakeries and businesses reachable on foot, so you won't go hungry. The real highlight (amongst many) of this place is its hosts (Maddalena and Aurelio). They were extremely kind and, any time I had any issues, they responded quickly and effectively. It exceeded all my expectations. I liked this place so much, I ended up extending my stay. :)

Located in Barisciano in the Abruzzo Region, 16 km from L’Aquila, Convento di San Colombo is set in its garden and it features a children's playground and views of the mountain. Perfect location for discovering the Abbruzzi Breakfast is definitely a winner Very friendly staff The butterfly garden and the herb garden are very nice places to take a little break Rooms are very comfortable, spacy and very clean

All homemade and served. Very good quality breakfast. We also had dinner there. very very cold. the chef is the owner. creation and presentation of the food was SUPER. Definitely recommend

Rita's apartment is very cozy, clean and comfortable. There is everything you need to prepare simple dishes. You can adjust the room temperature. The beds are comfortable. It is possible to park the car near the house. There are several good restaurants in the village. Rita is a very pleasant and caring hostess. We felt at home in her apartment. I recommend this accommodation with all my heart.

This is a spotless and spacious room that is actually in a castle tower. It is very quaint and yet still fully functional for an overnight stay. Claudia helped us so much in finding the place and making us comfortable. We came in January and most things were closed, yet she was able to get her friend to open his restaurant and serve us dinner. Where can you get such exceptional service as this? Our stay here was truly memorable.

Offering elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi, Madi city Hotel is located in the centre of L'Aquila, just off Corso Federico II road. The bar is open 7 days a week. Rebuilt and new since the earthquake, we were there just as it reopened. The owner/GM (?) was very present. The parking was extra but easy and we got a nice cool car in the sweltering heat! The location is steps away from the new promenade which was opened the day we got there. L'Aquila has rebuilt this area nicely.
