It was a great experience to enjoy this wonderful B&B in this Italian hill town. Wonderful couple host you. Nicely remodelled 18th century home overlooking this quaint hillside village. They made us a lovely dinner (for an extra cost) and a simple breakfast as well included. Very nice bedroom with a nice modern bathroom. I enjoyed a little exploring by walking around the village. Make sure you get proper directions to find the place prior to setting out as it’s not as the GPS shows due to one road close to the B&B being blocked.

Maddalena and Ernesto were very welcoming. They made us feel like if we were at home. The place is lovely, quiet and comfortable. We recommand to stay for dinner, food is really delicious, they work only with local products and explain everything you taste. We loved our breakfast as well! A full experience as a local in a beautiful place. Thank you for everything, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Elena’s property was stellar! If I could give her 100 stars, I would! Elena was a wonderful host; she met us, told us where to park and took us to our apartment. Our room had two windows; one overlooked the quaint street, and the other a beautiful view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment itself was a perfect size for my husband and me. Each morning, we went down one flight of stairs to the kitchen where Antonella was waiting to pamper us with coffee, cappuccino, cornetto, juice, and granola. Besides the Bed & Breakfast, Elena has a restaurant called Rupp Diun. All I can say is W.O.W! We told Elena our food preferences, (I am a vegetarian, for example), and she totally customized the meal that she prepared. Elena has a gift for making you feel like family. We ate at Rupp Diun multiple times because when the food is that good, why go anywhere else! It was fun to meet Elena's family and friends throughout our stay! Full disclosure: my grandmother was born in Colobraro in 1897, and I am on a mission to find out anything I can about my Italian roots. I probably would not have visited Colobraro if not for my grandmother, but what a shame that would have been. Elena and her friend Maria were extremely helpful in guiding me with my search. This beautiful, welcoming hill-top town with the most charming people should be on the bucket list of those that are looking to immerse themselves in Italian culture and history. I hope I am lucky enough to be able to make my way back to this charming city that is filled with townspeople that welcome you with enthusiasm and pride that leaves you with a longing to return.
