What an absolute pleasure it was to meet Lidia and Michele! They are such kind-hearted and fascinating hosts. Their newly renovated B&B, nestled in the charming town of Tortora (just 5 minutes from the sea and 20 minutes from the mountains), is a true gem of comfort and warmth. From the moment we arrived, it felt so inviting and cozy that we could easily imagine it as our own! 😉 Be sure to ask about their dinner menu—you won’t regret it. The food is absolutely delightful and adds an extra touch to the wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return!

We were on our honeymoon and she surprised us with decorations in our room. The breakfast was always amazing, fresh and by request. The view from the rooms and the pool is exceptional and so beautiful. Vicky was always available to help with anything, including where to eat around and activities to do in the reserve. We even got help with our laundry. The room itself was big and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of free parking on the street. The location is great between two small towns that included all these activities and food so the drives are short from the B&B to each place around.

Our daughter had a great time playing with the host’s little girl, which made the experience even more special. The room was just as described: very clean and well maintained, and the whole house is clearly cared for with love. If I had to “complain” about one thing — the dinner the host prepared for us was way too generous… we were absolutely stuffed! 😄

This property felt luxurious. The facilities were perfect, the pool was amazing, parking right outside the property. It was also very secure with an electric gate. Our hosts arrived in the morning to make breakfast which was absolutely delicious, and they were so lovely! Highly recommend for people who want a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Carla is a warm person who does everything for you. Breakfast consisted of too many things to eat: yoghurt, muesli, fruit, 3 types of cake and more. Strongly recommended

Elena’s property was stellar! If I could give her 100 stars, I would! Elena was a wonderful host; she met us, told us where to park and took us to our apartment. Our room had two windows; one overlooked the quaint street, and the other a beautiful view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment itself was a perfect size for my husband and me. Each morning, we went down one flight of stairs to the kitchen where Antonella was waiting to pamper us with coffee, cappuccino, cornetto, juice, and granola. Besides the Bed & Breakfast, Elena has a restaurant called Rupp Diun. All I can say is W.O.W! We told Elena our food preferences, (I am a vegetarian, for example), and she totally customized the meal that she prepared. Elena has a gift for making you feel like family. We ate at Rupp Diun multiple times because when the food is that good, why go anywhere else! It was fun to meet Elena's family and friends throughout our stay! Full disclosure: my grandmother was born in Colobraro in 1897, and I am on a mission to find out anything I can about my Italian roots. I probably would not have visited Colobraro if not for my grandmother, but what a shame that would have been. Elena and her friend Maria were extremely helpful in guiding me with my search. This beautiful, welcoming hill-top town with the most charming people should be on the bucket list of those that are looking to immerse themselves in Italian culture and history. I hope I am lucky enough to be able to make my way back to this charming city that is filled with townspeople that welcome you with enthusiasm and pride that leaves you with a longing to return.
