The Bastione Spasimo Boutique Hotel personnel were amazing! We had a misfortune and missed our flight, so we weren't able to check in at the agreed time (we arrived well past midnight), but nevertheless the personnel recorded a video just for us and sent it via WhatsApp where they explained the whole procedure of how to enter the hotel using a code, find the room keys in a locker, and navigate to our rooms. While we were stranded at the airport, lol, they prepared everything for us and even asked to leave a breakfast box for us if we planned to leave early in the morning. Rooms were modern and clean, the ceiling was spectacular, and the garden was amazing! Like a botanical garden in the city center! Unfortunately we stayed for only one night and didn't have enough time to use the pool in the garden but did manage to drink the morning coffee beside it.

The breakfast was the best we had from a hotel in a long time, everything is locally produced and they make you taste different typical things, and the best of all that it was held at the terrace with a beautiful view of the old town and the valle dei tempi. We liked the whole experience so much we wanted to stay an extra night. And they are on top of a confiteria that is always baking something different so it smells great!

Very beautiful rooms and bathroom. Awesome view of the harbour and sea. Breakfast typically Italian but that's ok. The hotel manager was so nice and super friendly and very helpful :-) We also booked the New Years Dinner at the hotel restaurant "Vela". It was wonderful! They even made a vegetarian menu for us! Very very happy and we will come back! The staff were really attentive and there were good drinks in the mini bar.
