We stayed a few days longer in Florence because it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is in the center, walking distance to all the sights, yet on a very quiet street. After midnight there is no one there at all. There are plenty of places with delicious food nearby, and the breakfast at the hotel is quite hearty and fresh. The hotel itself is small, I think it's 10 rooms? I'm not sure. The floor is quiet and the rooms are comfortable. There are even nice slippers (in 2025 I see less and less of them in hotels). Soundproofing is good, new air conditioners, great windows with shutters (you can completely block the light and sleep), comfortable beds with good mattresses. We managed to stay in two rooms, both were comfortable and very conveniently organized. You can see the staff's care for the hotel and the people.
