Hotel GrandBach Sendai ligger i Sendai, 1,7 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center. Her er en bar og udsigt til byen. Dette hotel har 4 stjerner. It was really great. Very clean and nice room, the reception and restaurant are beautiful, quiet place and close to the train station (8min by walk). Very comfy bed.

Matsushima Koumura ligger i Matsushima, 10 km fra Shiogama-templet og 24 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. We can highly recommend Matsushima Koumura. We stayed 4 nights and were very satisfied with everything. The owners were very nice and welcoming, the house is beautifully decorated and the little onsen perfect. The breakfast we had was very good and tea and coffee free. Everything was also very clean. The location is quiet, yet very close to all the sights in Matsushima.

Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL ligger i Takagi, 11 km fra Shiogama-templet. Her er en bar og enheder med aircondition. Nice staff, modern bath facilities, very clean

Tama Hotel ligger i Ishinomaki, 37 km fra Shiogama-templet og 49 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center. Her er en restaurant og gratisprivat parkering. Dette hotel har 2 stjerner. We stayed a night in Ishinomaki in order to tour Cat Island on the following morning. We arrived by train at around 4 pm and it was a pretty easy walk to the hotel. The family room on the first floor was huge - the kids especially loved the massage chair! The manager is a wonderful host and he gave us a tour of the facilities and all the information about the cat island ferry the following morning, including the weather conditions. He also helped our cat-crazy kids hold and feed some of the hotel's feline residents. The hotel has a cat room for those who want to play with cats and/or join for cat dinner time. Best of all, our host drove us to the ferry, helped us pick up some delicious pastries on the way, and then picked us up (with our luggage!) after the ferry to take us directly to the train for our next stop - an AMAZING service. Without their help I don't think we would have caught our train! I absolutely recommend Tama Hotel for anyone who loves cats and/or wants to explore Cat Island and Ishinomaki.

Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse ligger i Matsushima, 23 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center og 5 minutters gang fra Entsuin Temple. Dette pensionat har 1 stjerne. Amazing value, really great location and a very helpful operator who was full of handy recommendations for the area and super welcoming.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The staff were incredibly accommodating, their care and attention made our visit relaxed and joyful, the Kaiseki was excellent and well balanced, showcasing local delicacies and providing an excellent view into tradition. Being able to use the Onsen with a tattoo and not having to cover it up was a pleasant surprise, the Onsen was excellent and very clean (I only used the outside pool). We were picked up by their free shuttle bus at the Shinkansen station and dropped off as well. We have to thank all of the staff, but a special mention should be given to Meguro, who took great care of us.

Komatsukan Kofu-tei ligger lige foran Matsushima-bugten og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis internet via kabel. Badene var fantastisk og maden ligeså.
