Had a shuttle car take me from the train station. Getting around the lake from there is very nice, either with bus, or your own transportation method. The staff were really nice! The breakfast and dinner were both excellent and big traditional services. My room was very nice with a lovely view. I also used the public bath and it was lovely, looks nice, great view, well maintained and clean.

Food is excellent, service is impeccable, and the onsen is to 'die for.'

There is shuttle service available at Mt Fuji station for those who do not drive. The place looked great. We managed to have a clear view of Mt Fuji in the morning and it was breathtaking. There was even a brief moment when the Mt Fuji turned pink in the morning during sunrise. The hot spring and shower area looked like a private bathhouse. Food was normal and enough for us, but you can consider bringing additional food and snacks. There were A LOT of free beverages.

We were helped immediately and with great kindness. thank you so much! Also, the breakfast is delicious and served with the best coffee we had while in Japan.
