I did book private onsen which was amazing experience. They did think of all the small details.

It’s quite far from train station but can take a taxi to the house, or if you want to see nice places from the station to the house, recommend to walk, it’s take a time but nice place to see and take a photo. There is a big bath tub that can use 24 hours. In the morning the owner make breakfasts for us too.

Situated right beside the busy shopping street, but the Ryokan itself was quiet and relaxing. The food was amazing - well worth the price we paid. We had one of the maisonette rooms, with its own bath, and that was a wonderful experience for us. The staff was amazing, attentive and really hospitable. The stay wasn't cheap, but we would love to come back again. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil and relaxing stay.

We can also visit the guest onsen with an infinite openair pool, a sauna and a whirlppool, and the seaview lobby at the affiliate hotel Amane Seikai next door free of charge. There is also free afternoon tea, with decent snacks and drinks daily.
