All the beautiful wood and features. Taking your shoes off at entree, sliding doors, gymnasium, kitchen. Amazing. Even more amazing was the staff. The explained every thing well, gave recommendations for food and travel. I even got lucky and hitched a ride back to Nakatsugawa, with a perfect pitstop at Hillbilly Coffee (highly recommend). I stayed here after walking Nakasendo Trail from Tsumago. Perfect place to stay after. Do not hesitate. Go here. Book!

The property has sea and mountain views, and is 33 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The guest house features family rooms. Clean stay with the friendliest host. We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

Located in Nagoya, 1 km from Nagoya Station, Nikko Style Nagoya provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Located around 1.9 km from Oasis 21, the hotel with free WiFi is also 3.2 km away from Nagoya Castle. The accommodation features nightclub and a 24-hour front desk. We only stayed a night and booked a Premium room last minute because of a change of plans, but did not regret at all! The staff is wonderful and the facilities are amazing, ranging from a very large double bed, face masks / skin care products, a great design and lots of space. Perfect stay for an affordable price in the city centre, you will be able to fully relax at Nikki Style!

Private parking is available on site. Best hotel we stayed at on our trip to Japan. Apartments are big, have their own kitchen, laundry, big bathroom. Close to train station. 10 minute walk. Comfortable beds and super clean.

Big TV set with huge couch to sit on. Outstanding breakfast. Extremely attentive and supportive staff. All services — at a top notch. Great choice for a few days relax from Tokyo hype.

Had so much fun here - not your typical European hotel experience - you get various clothing options, it’s no shoes allowed and there is a great onsen. Food is great

Less than 1 km from Takayama Station and 2.9 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, the property features a bar and massage services. The property is allergy-free and is located 49 km from Gero Station. We had a pleasant family stay. We enjoyed free drinks in the afternoon and Japanese baths (although it is a small bath area and only has an interior pool).

This 4-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. The property is non-smoking and is set 100 metres from Takayama Station. Amazing staff, very mindful and helpful. The room was very very clean, with great amenities such as beverages and hot chocolate. The shower is great too. The breakfast is excellent. The localization, near the station, was very helpful. Also, the free laundry facilities were great to use.

Note: I stayed at the largest room with a balcony at the highest floor. So, my comment may be different from those who stay in smaller rooms at lower floors.
