Great all inclusive especially for beer enthusiasts. The room had a lot of space even with the futons laid out. We enjoyed the open air bath in the room and the private onsen. The meals were fantastic especially the dinners.

Beautiful property. The room was spacious! Even for Western standards. The private onsen was very nice. We did not try the public onsen. The staff were courteous and helpful. Although the staff had limited English proficiency, they all used a translation app to help with communication which was incredibly helpful.

The staff were extremely friendly and tried to accommodate with what ever I needed. Even with the language barrier they did everything exceptionally without any issues. The food was amazing also. The dinners especially were one of the major highlights for me. I tried so many new dishes and they all tasted amazing. Being locally sourced also made if that more delicious. The room was also amazing as I had my own private onsen.

It is located around 5-min drive to zao onsen ski resort. The price is reasonable. Room is warm and homey styled. House is very clean and new. The owner is generous and taking good care of guests. No breakfast but it does not matter for us. The host replied in chat so fast.

I felt very welcomed and was provided everything I needed. I ordered breakfast and it was super delicious. Would recommend staying here again!

Wakamatsuya ligger i Zao Onsen, 3 minutters gang fra Zao Skiresort, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. This place is beautiful in every way. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The room was spacious, clean and had the most incredible view of the surrounding snowcapped mountains. Location was great. And the private bathhouse was a plus for someone shy like me.
