Staying at Beytul Habaib was a great cultural experience. The mix of modern and traditional decor was beautiful, and David's service was excellent. The two-bedroom apartment was perfect for our family. We enjoyed cooking and felt right at home. The views were amazing, with stunning scenes of the island and ocean from every angle. Being close to the beach was a big plus, and my children loved playing there.
Everything was wonderful, the design is very tasteful, the staff is super on it and friendly, the food is good, the rooms are comfortable, everything is working well. It is kid friendly, but the kids aren't disturbing the others by the way of the layout. We had a great time!
Beautiful location and hotel. Staff was amazing. Only a short walk to Shela beach. The whole family had a great time!
Great rooftop, great location, good internet, and the rooms were spacious. Try to get rooms on the 3rd floor for the view and the breeze. Rooms can be interconnected, which was really nice for us travelling with kids, which basically meant we could add the balconies to our room space.
Lush tropical garden and pool area. Our first dinner by the pool in candlelight was magical. Food delicious. Large rooms, option on morning yoga, superb staff attention and service, spa options. Also very much enjoyed the link made by Banana House with local Swahili family, cooking lesson and dinner experience. Loved the ethics of this Property and Monika and her family’s story of building this business.
We like the 'swahilli' experience in the old town. The house was lovely. They did help us a lot with infant needs on boiling water for bottles etc.
The breakfast was always prepared fresh each day and was usually more than we could eat at once. You have the option to eat family style with other guests, which we did on some days.
