Paterson's Bridge is 1.2 km from Salt Lick Safari Lodge The property it’s so beautiful that I don’t know where to start from to describe it. The location is one of the most epic I have ever seen. I have no words to describe the beauty around and the fact that where animals like elephants coming just right in front of the resort to drink water . Full of birds singing and the view from the bar was sensational. The room was so clean and spacious with one of the best view I have ever seen from my window. Wow 😍 Food was amazing , was a buffet style and a lot of variety . Again just perfect . The staff was super great, smiling , welcoming and always caring for the guests. We were also having lunch at the sister hotel Taita hills sancutuary resort and we loved that cause we could also use the facilities over there for example the swimming pool while you were waiting for the game drive . Our game driver philomen was the best driver ever. We saw so many animals and he was making sure we were capturing the perfects moments on our camera. We stayed 2 nights and we didn’t want to leave but only stay more in this part of paradise that we were so glad to experienced and we will never forget. We will definitely coming back to make more memories in this dream lodge .

If you want to experience the local area but with comfort and unique site, go here! Also, I did a very cool hike around the area, with local guides.

Every request or issues were attended to very quickly. Great, spaciuos tents with a view on the lake. A perfect place for birdwatching. The chef is very creative and the food is delicious. Diners are either à la carte or in buffet style. They offer their guests an one hour walking safari and a night game drive. If you've come in your own car you have to drive yourself during the night safari but you will be guided. All in all the place to be.

Thank you Esther and Benson for your attentive and prompt table service. And all the staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are also spacious, comfortable and simple. They overlook the nearby hills. . The lodge arranged our all day game drive in Tsavo East. We had a great time and we were so lucky, seeing two lion prides and a wallowing elephant. But the highlight was the team of driver/guide David and ranger/ guide Devlan. David took.his time driving through the park so we could spot the game and spend as much time as we liked when we spotted something. Devlan is so very knowledgeable about birds and when we couldn't see the birds he was able to tell us what was nearby by identifying their songs. It was fantastic. If you are a birder I highly recommend Devlan as your guide We've been on many game drives and this was one of the best, not high end, so enjoyable.very. So if you're looking for a great pocket friendly option for a game drive you couldn't do any better.
