Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Lankavatara Ocean Retreat is located in Kalametiya, 15 km from Tangalle Lagoon. Excellent hotel - the whole family loved it! Rooms amazing with sea views, can hear the ocean from the rooms. Loved being directly on the beach, Gorgeous beach, that you can take log walks on - Breakfast is fantastic. Also ate dinner at the restaurant which was convenient and good. 100% recommend - would love to go back !

Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. Location, food and staff all amazing. Room and facilities were all so clean. Food was amazing. They organised everything for us with the safari which was such a great morning. The staff were absolutely amazing, and so unbelievably helpful. Genuinely couldn’t fault a thing.

I loved a lot that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and at any time accessible, the rooms were tidy, clean, and very spacious. Large balcony, private and quiet. The location was great too. I spent there 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious too. Definitely recommend this place. Great value for the money!

I made a booking here after I have read all the amazing reviews and I’m so glad I did. Nalin is such a nice person and just an amazing host! He contacted us after booking and we always stayed in touch. He was happy to help us with anything we needed and always provided with great tips and info. We were really touched with his hospitality. They cooked a great dinner just was for us that was included in the stay and it was soo good! Their house is beautiful, new, very clean. WiFi worked good. They even met us with welcome drinks and Nalin woke up at 4am to make a tea before our safari. Tissa itself is so beautiful town that is really worth visiting not only for Yala. We wish we could stay longer, we hope to come back again! Thank you very much Nalin 😊

First of all, the spacious cottage we stayed in was kept in immaculate condition! Everything in the room felt clean and fresh. The bathroom and shower are super comfy too. This place has the best water pressure (including hot water) we've had in three weeks Sri Lanka! It's located in a beautiful garden where you can see all kinds of animals. Secondly, Sandhu was a great host. He's a very polite and professional young man who clearly understands what guests want. He took good care of everything and was always available but also gave us enough privacy. Absolutely recommended!

Very spacious, and very clean place which you have all to yourself. Udara is an absolute star, and always on hand with anything you may need. He even took us down to the local beach as we wanted to relax on the sun and this was beautiful too and only a short ride away. The food on the evening prepared by Udaras mother and auntie was fantastic and so tasty, and plentiful. Even a washing machine is available should you need to freshen anything up. I happened to cut a toe on a rock, and the lovely Udara went out of his way to get some antiseptic cream for the cut which was so kind and thoughtful. We can highly recommend staying here, Udara sorted out our jeep for the morning safari and came with us which helped to spot all the wildlife in Yala national park and a lovely breakfast was provided to have at our convenience.
